WHO KILLED DONALD TRUMP?

The United States has entered a moment of uncertainty.

In this hypothetical crisis scenario, President Donald J. Trump has been assassinated, sending shockwaves through Washington and the international community. Governments must now confront an urgent question: who can be trusted?

Participants will navigate the political and diplomatic consequences of the assassination while governments attempt to establish what happened, evaluate intelligence, and determine how to respond.

With alliances, rivalries, national security, and international stability at stake, every accusation carries consequences. Acting without credible evidence could trigger diplomatic confrontation or further escalation.

The challenge is not simply to find an answer. It is to determine when there is enough evidence to act.

The entertainment industry is entering another major technological transformation.

Artificial intelligence can now generate music, images, scripts, voices, performances, and other forms of creative content. But as technology becomes capable of reproducing aspects of human creativity, a fundamental question emerges: what does it mean to be a creator?

Actors, writers, filmmakers, musicians, studios, technology companies, governments, and audiences all have competing interests in determining what comes next.

Participants will confront questions surrounding creative ownership, the protection of an artist's identity, technological innovation, regulation, and the future of the entertainment industry.

The challenge is to find a balance between innovation and protection and decide who should have the authority to define that balance.

CONTROVERSIAL SECTARIANISM

In partnership with March Lebanon, TCR brought young people together for a debate confronting controversial topics surrounding sectarianism in Lebanon.

Following a House versus Opposition format, debaters were assigned a position to defend even when that position contradicted their personal beliefs.

Rather than simply arguing for what they already believed, participants were challenged to understand an opposing perspective, construct stronger arguments, and respond to ideas from a completely different point of view.

The debate ultimately aimed to move beyond the divisions being discussed and return to a shared reality: we are all here, Lebanon.

THE LIMITS OF FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION

TCR and March Lebanon returned for a second debate, this time examining the boundaries of freedom of expression: what can be said, what goes too far, and where should the limits lie?

Once again, participants were divided between the House and Opposition and assigned positions regardless of their personal beliefs.

The format forced debaters to step outside their own perspectives and construct arguments they might not personally agree with.

The objective was not simply to win an argument. It was to strengthen debate skills, encourage critical thinking, and understand that seeing an issue from another perspective does not necessarily mean agreeing with it.
